Corbett Auditorium  Keynote: Christian Cardenas Artist Christian Cardenas, part of the duo LxsDos, captures the life and struggles of the El Paso and Ciudad Juárez borderlands through her art and murals. She has collaborated with Rage Against The Machine and created art installations for Coachella, highlighting migration, refugee issues, and social justice.  Keynote: Dr. Asif Wilson Dr. Asif Wilson is an Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His work is about the historical and contemporary forces that shape justice-centered pedagogies, how teachers engage in, and conceptualize, justice-centered pedagogies, and how students experience justice-centered educational spaces.  2nd Annual multidisciplinary academic conference embracing original scholarship, art, multimedia, and panels that promote activism, social change, and dissent. Works centered on justice related to disability, environment, race, the border, class, gender and sexuality, reproduction, war, healthcare, and more are being called for. We will celebrate works that not only promote radical thought but works that seek to push their academic disciplines to new levels, promoting social change and alternative ways of writing, thinking, and being.
